Rules of Schendi (CU) – by Kulroth the Assassin
Free should read these rules as well as slave rules; slaves should read the
slave rules.
1. Free are not to demand R/T information from any slave.
2. CounterUrth does not accept the pledge of a Free for the sake of numbers. If,
after a time, You feel You desire to call this Your Home Stone then seek out a
Captain.
3. There are rules concerning the capture, forced collaring and killing. These
rules will be adhered to by A/all.
4. A collar will be honored here as long as the slave is respectful and follows
our rules.
5. Free Women will be respected and treated with respect. Free Women should know
that the moment they act any way other than Free they are subject to a collar.
6. Slaves that are a free neck are subject to be collared.
7. Menus are posted in the Warriors Den; slaves will not attempt to change
prices for anyone.
8. The decision of the Captains is final. There are no appeals.
9. Free should bring their questions to a Free and slaves to the First Girl(s).
10. CounterUrth can, and will, limit access to anyone that is a "gamer". For the
purposes of a definition for such, a "gamer" is an individual who visits a site
like CU with described characteristics/ weapons/ abilities that are
contradictory to the content found within the Books of Gor, as described by the
author, John Norman. A "gamer" is also an individual who, when directed to the
rules and corrected regarding information about the proper activity within CU,
willfully continues to act in a manner that is utterly inappropriate for the
setting. "Gamers" are not welcome in CU, and once discovered, will be told to
leave. Captains of CU have the ability to enforce such expulsions.
11. CounterUrth will make changes in order to be as close to the Books as
possible, so do check and re-read the rules often.
12. Slaves that are to sold will go into a joint collar for a period of 30 days.
13. No slave shall be allowed to leave CounterUrth unless agreed upon by the
Captains. This pertains to any situation where there is a dispute involving the
Ownership of the girl.
14. No slave is above the rules of CounterUrth.
15. Once in the collar of the Free, CounterUrth shall not come between a Free
and what is theirs. CounterUrth will offer guidance if requested.
16. Any time during the 30 day joint collar the sale may be called off by the
Free involved. Every slave sold in CounterUrth will serve CounterUrth for a
period of time before being sold. No slave will be promised to any Free until
within 30 days of being available to be sold.
17. Being the Master of Assassins for Schendi, ANY and ALL assassinations that
are intended to be carried out in Schendi MUST have My approval – by order of
Kulroth the Assassin
Rules of Assassination & Battle – pertaining to proper form thereof
Battle
A battle is a match between two parties in agreement.
The battles are made in two manners: Death Match, and First Blood.
Both battles are done in the same way, with the difference of outcome.
The battle MUST get the judgement of a Captain of CU.
Each combatant has three posts, in which three moves are made. Any move beyond
the third is considered as if the combatant is standing still, and in this is
void.
In such a combat, there are three rounds. A round consists of one post made by
one combatant and a response post made by the other. The challenged party has
the opening post, reflecting the nature of a legitimate challenge to battle.
The posts must be in context of the situation, using proper Gorean weaponry, and
are to be stated realistically and without presumption of outcome, or they are
considered as not made, in this made void and the combatant is considered as if
not moving. Any "fantasy" moves made will NOT be tolerated, and in such the
match will be forfeited to the opponent. This includes the use of weapons or
skills that do not appear in Gor, including, but not limited to anything that
would involve unnatural acrobatics or other maneuvers. The judge will render
final verdict if such an action is detected.
An example of an attack in legitimate form: "I draw My blade (action 1), charge
toward My opponent (action 2), and strike toward His chest (action 3)"
An example of a reply in legitimate form: "seeing My opponent draw and charge, I
roll off of My seat, taking hold of My blade on the table as I do so (action 1),
dodge His attack (action 2), and slice toward the backs of the knees of My foe,
hoping to hamstring Him (action 3)"
If after three rounds, in case of death match, the opponent is not considered
dead, or there is a draw, one additional round is made, with more rounds
eligible if required.
In case of a death match, if a blow so fierce and deadly is made, the judge may
decide if a blow of mercy is to be granted instead, especially if the result is
a very dishonorable death to the loser.
In case of first blood match, the battle is done when the judge deems a blow is
made to draw blood.
Assassination
An assassination is done in a single post by the Assassin, and a single reply
post by the victim. If the attack post is not responded to in proper form, the
assassination is successful.
Allowed response time is within TWO posts from Assassin’s post, maximum response
time is being the THIRD post after the Assassin’s.
These refer to posts made by the intended target to the room.
If "responded" to, the post must be a responding one to the attack post and in
context to that one. NOTE that EACH post made by the mark that does NOT relate
to the Assassin’s actions will count against Him as if it was an action in a
proper post.
A kill is void if the Assassin is deemed to be making fantasy moves, such as
jumping several feet into the air, using fireballs or similar impossibilities.
An assassination post is made WITHOUT the issuance of a challenge or warning,
and so presumes that the mark is in some state of surprise; the judge of the
event may, however, make a ruling to negate such surprise, turning the situation
into a BATTLE post.
An example of an assassination, in legitimate form, is "silently, and without
word, as I am standing, and about to leave the Alley, I draw My throwing knife
(action 1), spin about suddenly (action 2), and with force and speed, throw the
knife at The Mark (action 3), the aim being for His throat"
An example of a proper reply to such an event MUST consider the surprise of the
situation, including what is going on involving others within the room. For
instance, to spot the action of the draw of the blade while talking to another
Free or slave, in the above example, is difficult. If the mark loses MORE than
one action due to extraneous posts, it becomes progressively more difficult to
prevent the effectiveness of the kill.
If the mark in question does not respond accordingly to the Assassin’s actions,
by the third subsequent post from the mark, the mark is killed.
If an assassination is made, or in question on either party, the posts are to be
made on the Captains Board and a ruling will be made accordingly; the Captains
may, upon review of the copied and pasted report of the supposed kill, deem that
the assassination is void if the proper format is not followed.
Capture/forced collaring
A capture/forced collaring is when a person is caught in such a way; escape is
not possible.
A capture/forced collaring is done in three posts similar to a battle.
If copy & pasted posts are made, the capture is void.
If the target is booted from the room during the posting of the capture, the
target is not able to defend itself and in such the capture is considered void.
(Incidentally, this applies also to battle, presuming that one party fled the
fight, but not to assassination IF there is ANY kind of post by the mark
subsequent to the assassination post.)
On the other hand, if the target of forced collaring or capture itself flees
from the room, by deliberately hitting the leave button, the capture is valid as
such, and is not tolerated by the site; the captor may make a subsequent post
disposing of the offender, that does NOT need to be replied to.
A valid capture in context with the rules above is to be posted on the Boards to
be viewed by the Captains of CU. Even if a capture is valid according to the
rules above, the capture is not concluded until the room’s Keeper or Captain has
deemed it valid.
Exceptions are made if the target itself deems it valid and accepts the capture.
Once the capture is deemed void or valid by the Captain, the decision is final
and not able to be appealed.

Rules for E/everyone in the Warriors Den – by Kulroth the Assassin
1. There is no such thing as an uncollared slave on Gor. Any slave entering The
Warriors Den without a collar is eligible to be placed in a {WD} collar and be
claimed as property by the Tavern.
Exception A. A slave may enter The Warriors Den for a period of 1 week with a {WD}~o~
collar for observation purposes. After 1 week the slave needs to leave or the
collar becomes permanent. The slave also has the option of begging the collar of
a personal Master prior to the automatic transfer to a permanent collar.
Exception B. A slave that enters The Warriors Den for the purpose of begging a
personal collar of a Master, may enter seemingly "uncollared". If the personal
collar is granted, the Tavern will make no claim on the slave. However, if the
collar is refused to the slave, she automatically is eligible to being placed in
a Tavern collar at the whim of the Den Master.
2. To prevent confusion as to who is in the room and who is not. Upon leaving
the room, log off using the leave button.
3. The WD is a NO kill/ NO forced collar/ NO capture zone; this does NOT impede
the enforcement of rule #1, above, however, nor does it mean that a slave cannot
be disposed of in a lethal manner if grounds are evident for it.
4. The Free Women of Gor are welcome in The Warriors Den and WILL be respected.
They are under the protection of the Den Master. So long as the FW stay within
the Gorean ways of FW they will be safe. If Her actions are questionable and
someone attempts to collar any FW, the incident must be C & P to
TheWarriorsDen@counterurth.com.
The Den Master will make a ruling.
5. A certain amount of playfulness and humor will be allowed and encouraged,
However, keep it Gorean and do not let it get out of hand.
6. No personal R/T information may be demanded of any person. It may be offered,
but not forced. Any violation of this rule will result in banishment. C & P the

A judge is needed, preferably one of the Officials from The Warriors Den. (qv)

Master/Mistress if they are present.
11. Slaves who have "special" instructions from their Master are advised to
